DEEP-SEA EXPLORATION

The UHV Manta (Unmanned Hybrid Vehicle) is a new generation of AUV designed to perform missions both at the surface and underwater. Capable of carrying additional payloads along with multiple sensors such as side-scan sonar, multibeam echosounder, current profiler, hydrophone, and HD/Photogrammetry cameras, the UHV Manta is intended for oceanography, naval defense, and coastal and offshore surveillance projects.

Three versions exist :

  • 0 – 3m (USV/Sub-surface)
  • 0 – 100m (USV/AUV)
  • 0 – deep water (USV/AUV)

Applications:

  • High-resolution seabed mapping
  • Communication relay
  • Monitoring of sensitive sites (surface and seabed)
  • Inspections of floating or submerged structures
  • Search for objects (mines, wrecks, pipelines, etc.)
