<p data-start="81" data-end="194">Marine Tech is among the seven companies selected for the DANAE program by the Defence Innovation Agency (AID).</p>
<p data-start="196" data-end="336">This program aims to develop and test innovative marine drone systems designed to enhance the operational capabilities of the French Navy.</p>
<p data-start="338" data-end="562">We had the opportunity to participate in a week of full-scale trials in the Toulon harbor, under real operational conditions, and to present our solution to Ms. Catherine Vautrin, Minister of the Armed Forces and Veterans.</p>
<p data-start="564" data-end="713">For this operation, Marine Tech installed its drone kit on an existing platform within very tight deadlines, in order to meet the selection trials.</p>
<p data-start="715" data-end="767">A key milestone for the next phase of the program.</p>

<p>After several months of R&amp;D, we are proud to present Sentinelle, our new tethered aerial drone system.</p>
<p>This system &#8211; comprising a quadcopter, a landing platform and an automated winch &#8211; enables extended, secure aerial deployment from a moving vessel.</p>
<p>Designed to withstand the most hostile marine environments (sea spray, strong winds, humidity), Sentinelle pushes back the limits of onboard UAV use.</p>
<p>Its ability to take off and land dynamically on a moving vessel was made possible by the development of automatic piloting software coupled with innovative automated winch technology.</p>
<p>These are the aspects that set Sentinelle apart from other solutions.<br />
The first concrete application: the French Navy has equipped itself with the first example of this solution, unprecedented in France.</p>
<p>The drone can carry various types of payload:<br />
Long-range stabilized cameras with infrared, target tracking, communication relays to increase range and data rates between units in a naval air group.</p>
<p>With its unlimited autonomy, insensitivity to jamming and discretion, Sentinelle is the future of onboard surveillance, in the service of maritime sovereignty.</p>
<p>Already available in kit form for the naval version, a version for land operations is currently under development.</p>

<p>On Thursday January 16, we were delighted to welcome the Prefect of the Var, Philippe Mahé, and the Mayor of Six Fours les Plages, Jean-Sébastien Vialatte, for a tour of our production facilities at Marine Tech headquarters.</p>
<p>In the background, our development program around the Manta drone, which was selected as part of the CORIMER call for projects financed by FRANCE 2030. This ambitious project began in April 2024, and Marine Tech and its partners Hologarde, SHIP AS A SERVICE and i2S &#8211; Innovative Imaging Solutions are working on the development of an innovative solution for mapping and monitoring coastal areas and the deep sea.</p>
<p>The visit provided an opportunity for rich and convivial exchanges, enabling us to reiterate our thanks for the trust placed in this project by the French government.</p>

<p>Recap of the first edition of the 2024 Dronathlon, organized by the French Navy (CEPN) and the DGA – Directorate General of Armaments, in collaboration with the Defense Innovation Agency, from October 7 to 11. This unique event brought together 35 companies to test drone solutions in realistic, multi-environment scenarios.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Marine Tech participated in two exercises as part of two consortia :</p>
<p>Poséidrones with SEABER (leader), Hologarde, and HEXADRONE.<br />
Amphi D with Thales (leader), DRONE ACT, and PILGRIM TECHNOLOGY.</p>
<p>In the first scenario, the RSV Sea Observer was equipped with a USBL beacon to track and geolocate two SEABER AUVs in real time. Their mission was to map a coastal area and detect underwater targets (such as mines). Despite stormy conditions, the operation was a success.</p>
<p>An aerial drone (the Tundra 2 from HEXADRONE) complemented the setup by flying over a terrestrial zone to identify events (objects and ground troops). The real-time feedback demonstrated the value of these advanced technologies for the Navy.</p>
<p>A few days later, the second scenario involved deploying the surface drone RSV, this time equipped with an underwater deployment system for a FLASH IG sonar (provided by Thales) for submarine detection and monitoring.</p>
<p>As highlighted by the magazine Le Marin, &#8216;the sailors were full of praise for this craft that withstood the storm and thunder,&#8217; our two scenarios were successfully carried out and validated in harsh weather conditions, with winds reaching 100 km/h and two-meter swells, allowing us to determine the operational limits of the various systems.</p>
<p>These operations provided a valuable opportunity to assess the drones&#8217; performance and better understand operational needs in this complex environment.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>BAYANAT, a major player in the UAE in the field of data acquisition, analysis and surveillance, is currently showcasing Marine Tech&#8217;s UHV MANTA at the DRIFT X trade show in Abu Dhabi from April 25 to 27, 2024. Following on from the agreements signed at the end of 2023, a version of the MANTA UAV will be developed for UAE requirements, incorporating cutting-edge security and surveillance technologies. The MANTA UHV continues to move upmarket, offering new perspectives on conventional maritime and underwater UAV solutions.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are pleased to announce that the MANTA X project led by <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/marinetechs/">Marine Tech</a> and its partners <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/hologarde/">Hologarde</a>, <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/shipasaservice/">SHIP AS A SERVICE</a> and <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/groupe-i2s/">i2S &#8211; Innovative Imaging Solutions</a> has been selected in the <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/feed/hashtag/?keywords=france2030&amp;highlightedUpdateUrns=urn%3Ali%3Aactivity%3A7181672239237332993">France2030</a> program&#8217;s <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/feed/hashtag/?keywords=corimer&amp;highlightedUpdateUrns=urn%3Ali%3Aactivity%3A7181672239237332993">CORIMER</a> 2023 call for projects.</p>
<p>The aim of the project is to develop a solution for mapping and monitoring coastal areas down to the deep seabed using the UHV MANTA underwater drone, operated using algorithms incorporating autonomous decision-making. New-generation cameras and an underwater docking station for data transfer and rapid recharging will significantly increase mission autonomy. The system will be completed by a deep-sea ROV to provide the intervention capability required for complex operations.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s an ambitious program, but one that already benefits from a set of existing technological building blocks, and will have a budget of over 5 million euros for 36 months of development.</p>
<p>During his recent visit to <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/feed/hashtag/?keywords=toulon&amp;highlightedUpdateUrns=urn%3Ali%3Aactivity%3A7181672239237332993">Toulon</a>, the French Minister of the Armed Forces, Mr. <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/sebastienlecornu27/">Sébastien Lecornu</a>, welcomed the continued development of the <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/feed/hashtag/?keywords=manta&amp;highlightedUpdateUrns=urn%3Ali%3Aactivity%3A7181672239237332993">MANTA</a> project through France 2030, because, as he pointed out, it is a project resulting from a Rapid-/DGA<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/direction-generale-de-larmement/">&#8211; Direction Générale de l&#8217;Armement</a> and<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/agence-de-l-innovation-de-d%C3%A9fense/">Defense Innovation Agency</a> program.</p>
