Laureate of the CORIMER call for projects under the France2030 program, the Manta X project was presented at the Maritime Innovation Days on May 17 in Paris, under the patronage of the French Secretary of State for the Sea and Biodiversity.

BAYANAT, a major player in the UAE in the field of data acquisition, analysis and surveillance, is currently showcasing Marine Tech’s UHV MANTA at the DRIFT X trade show in Abu Dhabi from April 25 to 27, 2024. Following on from the agreements signed at the end of 2023, a version of the MANTA UAV will be developed for UAE requirements, incorporating cutting-edge security and surveillance technologies. The MANTA UHV continues to move upmarket, offering new perspectives on conventional maritime and underwater UAV solutions.

We are pleased to announce that the MANTA X project led by Marine Tech and its partners Hologarde, SHIP AS A SERVICE and i2S – Innovative Imaging Solutions has been selected in the France2030 program’s CORIMER 2023 call for projects.

The aim of the project is to develop a solution for mapping and monitoring coastal areas down to the deep seabed using the UHV MANTA underwater drone, operated using algorithms incorporating autonomous decision-making. New-generation cameras and an underwater docking station for data transfer and rapid recharging will significantly increase mission autonomy. The system will be completed by a deep-sea ROV to provide the intervention capability required for complex operations.

It’s an ambitious program, but one that already benefits from a set of existing technological building blocks, and will have a budget of over 5 million euros for 36 months of development.

During his recent visit to Toulon, the French Minister of the Armed Forces, Mr. Sébastien Lecornu, welcomed the continued development of the MANTA project through France 2030, because, as he pointed out, it is a project resulting from a Rapid-/DGA– Direction Générale de l’Armement andDefense Innovation Agency program.

We are delighted to announce our participation in CES this year! 🎉

CES represents an exceptional opportunity for us to showcase our solution, HELIO, and highlight French expertise in innovation. 🌟

In the midst of this array of complex technologies, we believe it is crucial to present a simple solution, inspired by nature, to address one of the world’s greatest challenges: access to clean water. 💧

Circular economy, decarbonized energy, microplastics, water and the environment, etc. – these are the topics that will be addressed at the upcoming annual TEDx conference in Cannes on November 24th, one of the most significant events in France.

For this edition, 12 speakers, including entrepreneurs, researchers, and journalists, have been selected and will have the privilege of discussing their efforts for a sustainable world.

Beyond the presence of several hundred attendees on the day of the event, there are already over 6 billion views of talk shows on social media.

A unique opportunity for the Helio project, which has been chosen for this edition

Driven by the government of the United Arab Emirates’ desire to equip the country with the capability for maritime observation, analysis, and protection using autonomous vehicles, Marine Tech has been selected by the prominent UAE player, Bayanat, in this field. A strategic cooperation agreement was signed on October 19 in Abu Dhabi during the international GITEX IMPACT exhibition at the government’s stand.

The technology of the UHV MANTA drone captured the attention of the Emirati government and will be at the heart of future developments in the months and years to come in the #UAE with Bayanat.

The UHV MANTA is the result of several years of development and has benefited from a RAPID program supported by the Defense Innovation Agency (AID) and the Directorate General of Armaments (DGA), not to mention the support from the Mediterranean Sea Cluster, TVT Innovation, the University of Toulon with the Laboratory of Information Systems (LIS/CNRS – National Center for Scientific Research), SYSTEM FACTORY, and the South Region – Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. These are all significant partners for Marine Tech, and we wish to express our heartfelt gratitude for their unwavering support in the development of our company’s projects.

The Mayor of La Seyne enthusiastically inaugurated the Helio Farm at Parc de la Navale, a groundbreaking facility for water production from seawater and solar energy.

Far more than a mere exhibition, it serves as a tangible demonstration that solutions exist for countries facing water shortages. This installation, powered by solar energy, provides a real and effective response to the challenges of water management in regions of the world struggling with water resource scarcity.

The Helio Farm exemplifies innovation and commitment to sustainability, offering an inspiring model for those seeking eco-friendly solutions to ensure access to clean water. This achievement serves as a reminder that even in the face of complex challenges, humanity can find ingenious solutions to preserve our planet and secure a more promising future for all.

Laureate of the “Exhibition of French Manufacturing” 2023, the HELIO solution was exhibited on July 1 and 2 in front of more than 9,000 spectators in the gardens of the Elysée Palace, and presented by President Emmanuel Macron in his opening speech.

The “Exhibition of French Manufacturing” is an exceptional showcase for French companies, demonstrating their know-how, their commitment to sustainable development and their contribution to the growth of French manufacturing.

This week, Marine Tech delivered the first bathymetry drone to the French Navy in Brest, following a contract for up to 20 units.

Based on the RSV Dolphin range, the surface drone is equipped with a high-resolution 3D bathymetry system, a programming and mission supervision system with manual and unmanned modes coupled with obstacle avoidance.

At the heart of the Brest naval base, Marine Tech has also provided training for operators from the CEPN (Centre d’Expertise des Programmes Navals), the SHOM (Service Hydrographique et Océanographique de la Marine) and the DGA (Direction générale de l’armement).

Marine Tech thanks once again the DGA, the SHOM and the CEPN for their confidence.
